در اين نوشتار مطالعاتي بر روي محور تاريخي و ارزشمند بازار رشت و عناصر شاخص آن كه همان كاروانسراها مي باشند، انجام گرفته است. بافت يكپارچه ي شهر رشت كه طي ساليان، رفته رفته و براساس نياز شكل گرفته بود، توسط خيابان كشي هايي كه در دوره ي پهلوي اول آغاز شد، از هم گسست و شروع به از دست دادن ارزش هاي خود نمود و بافت بازار تاريخي آن نيز از اين گزند دور نماند. با انتقال فعاليت هاي تجاري به جداره ي خيابان هاي تازه تاسيس و پر زرق و برق، كه امكان تردد ماشين و سهولت در جابجايي بار در آنها آزاد بود، سنگ بناي زوال كالبدي و عملكردي كاروانسراها گذاشته شد. آتش سوزي بزرگ بازار رشت و تنگي معابر آن كه مانع امدادرساني سريع و موجب ازبين رفتن ساختمان هاي ارزشمندي ازقبيل مغازه ها و كليساي موجود در بازار شد نيز ميل به ترك بافت قديمي و نزديك شدن به خيابان را در ساكنان بازار شدت بخشيد. اين روند تدريجي فرسودگي عملكردي، كه فرسودگي كالبدي را در پي داشت، به تدريج موجب تغيير كاربري حجره هاي كاروانسراها از محلي براي خريد و فروش به انبار و حياط آن ها به پاركينگ ماشين و بعضا تخليه كامل و متروك و مخروبه شدن فضاها گرديده است، كه با درنظر داشتن شرايط اقليمي بسيار ويژه ي شهر رشت و تاثيرات مخرب آن بروي بناهاي خشتي(خصوصا بناهاي خالي از سكنه) بيم تخريب كامل مجموعه را قوت مي بخشد. در اين راستا با مطالعه كاروانسراهاي بازار اصلي بخش مركزي شهر رشت به‌عنوان يكي از مهم‌ترين محورهاي تاريخي و فرهنگي به لحاظ كالبدي و كاركردي به دليل تعدد حضور بناهاي شاخص شهري و مجموعه بازار ؛ راهكارهاي ذكرشده جهت بهبود شرايط كالبدي و عملكردي با رويكرد افزايش يكپارچگي كالبدي و با در نظرگرفتن تمهيدات سامان بخش در زمينه ي حمل و نقل ارائه شده.

Revitalization and organization of existing caravanserais within the context of Rasht's bazaar, maintaining architectural values of building's structures/ framework as well as historical values of urban context

In this article, we examine the valuable historical context of Rasht's "old bazaar district" and its key elements, the caravanserais. Due to the construction of new streets beginning in the first Pahlavi period, Rasht city's homogeneous/integrated urban design, which was gradually developed over the years and based on the needs of the users, was broken apart. As a result, it began to lose its values, and the texture of its historical bazaar suffered as well. The move of commercial activities to recently established and glamorous streets, where cars were allowed and goods could be easily moved, laid the foundations for the physical and functional deterioration of caravanserais. The narrowness of the passageways of the big bazaar of Rasht, which prevented quick relief during the fire incident and caused the destruction of valuable buildings such as old shops and the church in the bazaar, also intensified the desire of residents of the bazaar to move closer to the street. Through this gradual process of functional wear out, which followed physical wear out, caravanserais gradually became warehouses instead of places for buying and selling, with their yards turned into parking lots, and in some cases, they were completely abandoned and emptied. In addition, Rasht city's very special climatic conditions and its destructive attacks on adobe buildings (especially uninhabited buildings) intensify fears of these building's complete destruction. As a result of studying the main bazaar caravanserais in the central part of Rasht city which constitute one of the most important historical and cultural contexts in the city in terms of their physical and functional aspects, due to the presence of several significant urban buildings, solutions are proposed to improve the physical and functional conditions of buildings with the objective of increasing their physical integrity and considering organizational measures in the area of transportation.
