The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of Tabriz-Jolfa railway on the development of tourism in the region. This research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and the results showed that the railway directly helps to increase tourist attraction and economic development of the region. The results of this study can be used as a basis for management decisions and tourism policies in the region. This research has used statistical analysis and survey methods to collect and analyze data. The required data were collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with tourists and local residents. Then, using statistical software such as smart pls, the data were analyzed and the results were extracted. By choosing the tourist area of Tabriz to Jolfa as a case study, the stations and attractions along the route have been investigated. One of the reasons for choosing this railway route is the existence of suitable capacities for industrial, historical and cultural tourism and also as an economic corridor for the exchange of goods and services with Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan region. The method of this research is descriptive and analytical, using a questionnaire, and documentary and library studies have been used along with field investigation. In the end, by eva‎luating the possibilities and limitations of the target area, rail tourism has been identified as a solution for the protection of valuable natural, historical-cultural and rural heritages, and suggestions for its further development and use have been presented.
