Historical textures are of great importance due to their cultural and identity values. However, the passage of time and lack of adaptation to the needs of the day exposes them to wear and tear and inefficiency. Urban regeneration is a new approach to revive these tissues by using existing potentials and residents' participation. The city of Tabriz, as one of the metropolises of Iran, faces many challenges in the field of urban regeneration. The neighborhoods of Damascus, Qarabagh and Daneshsara in Tabriz, despite having the Blue Mosque as a valuable historical monument, have suffered wear and tear and inefficiency. The lack of connection between the mosque and the surrounding context, inappropriate uses, dilapidated buildings, and lack of green space are among the problems of these neighborhoods. The main problem of this research is to investigate and provide appropriate solutions for the regeneration of Damaskiyah, Qarabagh and Danesh Sera neighborhoods, emphasizing the role of the Blue Mosque of Tabriz as an identity-giving element and driver of local development. For the regeneration of these neighborhoods, comprehensive planning and active participation of the residents is required, the investigation of the current situation of the neighborhoods of Damascus, Qarabagh and Danesh Sera, identification of factors and challenges of regeneration in these neighborhoods, providing suitable solutions for the regeneration of the neighborhoods with an emphasis on the Blue Mosque, improving the quality of life of the residents of the neighborhoods, maintaining and the revival of the historical and cultural identity of the neigh-borhoods. The method of this study is quantitative-qualitative. Collecting theoretical information was done by library method and content analysis. Knowledge of the existing situation has been done analytically-descriptively and using the methods of field sampling, interviews and question-naires. This research will be applied in a survey method. To collect data, documentary, library, questionnaire and interview tools have been used. The statistical population of this research in-cludes residents, experts and specialists in the field of urban regeneration in Tabriz. The results of this research show that the localities under study suffer from problems such as the separation of the mosque and the market, inappropriate uses, wear and tear of buildings, impermeability of the fabric, and severe lack of green space, etc. Solutions for these problems are presented in the fifth chapter of the thesis. Creating a series of connected urban spaces with diverse uses, reviv-ing the connection between the mosque and the market, transferring passing traffic, increasing green space per capita, and revitalizing historical and cultural elements and activities are among the proposed solutions for the regeneration of these neighborhoods. As a result, re-creating the neighborhoods of Damascus, Qarabagh and Danesh Sara, emphasizing the role of the Kaboud Mosque as a city space, can help improve the quality of life of the residents, economic prosperi-ty, and preserve the historical identity of these neighborhoods. The implementation of tissue regeneration measures is an undeniable necessity to improve the quality of life of the residents and preserve and revive the historical and cultural identity of these neighborhoods.
