This research looks for spatial qualities that promote social sustainability in social housing and effective design solutions to achieve these qualities, emphasizing the role of structure and technology. In this regard, firstly, the role of social housing as one of the tools of housing policy in social sustainability is eva‎luated by looking at global experiences and housing programs in Iran, and then the basics and concepts of social sustainability and architectural factors affecting it according to the dimensions Individual and social human needs are examined. In the following, due to the research approach in understanding the role of structure and technology in achieving sustainable architecture from the social dimension, it is devoted to the study of the basics and concepts of technology, opinions and ideas surrounding this field and its function in the physical field, and finally with Examining domestic and foreign case examples and pathologically looking at the Mehr housing project as the most important public housing project in the country, the influencing factors in the social sustainability of these examples are extracted and used as keys in the design. The aim of this research is to find solutions in design that translate the social aspects of human needs and qualitative factors related to them in the form of spatial and physical elements and apply them for the social sustainability of social residential environments. According to the conducted studies, the design of modular structures with combinability features can play an important role in achieving spatial and physical qualities that are effective on social sustainability, which is why combinable modular structures are the basis of social housing complex design. - are In this research, the method of collecting information in the form of a library, observation and conclusion in a descriptive method is the basis of the research, and it is tried to provide practical solutions for the qualitative subject of the research through the results obtained from it.
