Production barriers in the automotive industry are one of the main challenges that have a great impact on competitiveness, quality, and production costs. These barriers can arise from various factors, including problems in the supply chain, technology, labor, and economic and political constraints. Production barriers can have a negative impact on the production of cars in the Iranian automotive industry. However, development and transformation programs in the automotive industry aim to solve these problems and give greater prosperity to this industry. Among the issues raised in the field of production barriers in the automotive industry are. The aim of the present study is to identify and prioritize production barriers, the case of the automotive industry (Iran Khodro). The statistical population of this study is 15 academic experts and automotive industry experts. The data collection tool in this study is interviews and questionnaires. First, by reviewing the research literature and previous studies, as well as reviewing the opinions of analysts and experts about the automotive industry, experts were identified. Finally, 40 main indicators in 8 main dimensions were reviewed and analyzed using the Delphi and FAHP methods. The research findings show that economic factors have a weight of (0.085) and technical and technological factors (0.084), laws and regulations (0.113), infrastructure (0.097), the presence of systematic corruption (0.123), structural and managerial factors (0.143), market and customer-related factors (0.163), and changes in governments (0.193).
