in this study , the mechanical perforance of two two joining methods,resistance spot welding an‎d adhesive joints in steel sheets has been investigated an‎d compared experimentally an‎d numerically . the main objective was to eva‎luate the deformation strength an‎d failure mode of each method an‎d to analyze the accuracy of numerical modeling in predicting their mechanical behavior. For this purpose, laboratory specimens were prepared using the two joining methods an‎d subjected to tensile-shear an‎d transverse tensile mechanical tests.
