چكيده
Abstract:
In according to daily extracting of using smart systems and requirements in appliance
of vision systems, 3D modeling as the best complete standard vision system which get
the third dimension of objects, have succeeded a special importance.
Face with its special characteristics like complicated surfaces, motion artifacts, and
wide application fields: 3D Animations, realization of 3D catalogues and virtual
museum, fast prototyping, supporting the restoration project, etc is an important and
suitable subject in 3D Scanning.
The main target in this thesis in addition to make a 3D scanner in order to record the
face information is to proving a system without any requirement to hard, complicated
and time consuming calibration operations. In addition it could be calibrated with the
recorded images of the target object without any pre-calibration process with the
calibration planes. It means the system could calibrate itself with no need to manual
calibration.
Another superior point in the thesis, is to omit the light effects of scanning area, it
causes scanning in a bright room.
Also it is solved the main problem of structured light system in illuminating many
patterns to encoding the object.
