چکيده
This seminar presents the application of Simulation of a Software Defined Network Using Mininet and Ryu as a future technology for managing network congestion in large-scale, dynamic systems. Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) play a vital role not only in delivering network services but also in facilitating efficient network management within cloud data centers. Technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) significantly streamline this process. To comply with network policies, communication between virtual machines (VMs) is required to traverse specific sequences of VNFs. However, data centers face substantial challenges in balancing the computational load across VNF instances while minimizing communication costs between VMs. This challenge is formally known as the Load-Balanced VNF Assignment Problem (LB-VAP). To address it, efficient heuristic algorithms are employed, aiming to provide near-optimal performance in dynamic and large-scale environments.
