Abstract This research, "Economic an‎d Environmental Challenges in Hydrogen Electric Production," addresses the importance of hydrogen as a clean an‎d sustainable energy source. Hydrogen is considered a clean fuel, producing only water vapor when burned, an‎d can be produced from renewable sources such as solar an‎d wind power. The research examines methods of hydrogen production, such as water electrolysis an‎d methane reforming. However, hydrogen production faces economic challenges, including high production costs an‎d the significant investments required. Environmental challenges include carbon emissions from some production methods an‎d water consumption. The research emphasizes the importance of promoting research to improve the efficiency of production technologies, developing the necessary infrastructure, an‎d ensuring the sustainability of operations through the use of renewable energy sources to achieve a sustainable energy transition.
