  • چکيده
    Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) represent an emerging class of crystalline porous materials constructed through dynamic covalent chemistry, offering highly ordered architectures with tunable pore sizes, diverse topologies, an‎d exceptional chemical versatility. This seminar provides an integrated overview of the fundamental concepts underlying COF design, including structural principles, linkage chemistry, an‎d dimensionality, followed by a detailed examination of major synthetic strategies such as solvothermal, microwave-assisted, mechanochemical, an‎d ionothermal pathways. A comprehensive literature review highlights recent advances in COF applications across energy storage, environmental remediation, catalysis, sensing, an‎d biomedical systems, emphasizing structure–function relationships an‎d performance benchmarks reported in recent studies. Despite significant progress, challenges related to long-term stability, large-scale production, an‎d precise defect control remain central to ongoing research. Overall, this seminar synthesizes current knowledge an‎d identifies key directions for future development of COFs as multifunctional platforms in advanced materials science
