  • چکيده
    The seminar looks at how next-generation mobile networks are changing, with a focus on how 5G-Advanced an‎d 6G technologies will make two big changes possible: the Massive Internet of Things (Massive IoT) an‎d the Metaverse. It looks at how the present 5G architecturesʹ problems with scalability, latency, an‎d energy efficiency make it hard for them to accommodate ultra-dense IoT installations an‎d immersive virtual worlds. The study examines 5G-Advanced, as delineated in 3GPP Releases 18 an‎d 19, emphasizing architectural innovations including AI/ML-driven automation, improved network slicing, an‎d compatibility with Extended Reality (XR) applications. It then moves on to 6G, which is thought of as an AI-native intelligent fabric that combines communication, sensing, an‎d computation. We look at enabling technologies like Terahertz (THz) communication, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), an‎d Integrated Sensing an‎d Communication (ISAC) to see how they can help us reach very high Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like terabit throughput, sub-millisecond latency, an‎d energy-efficient ultra-dense connectivity. The conference also points out research gaps an‎d stresses the necessity for cross-layer optimization frameworks that function well with these technologies. In the end, it suggests a new thesis direction called "AI-Driven QoS an‎d QoE Optimization for Immersive Applications in 6G Networks," which aims to create smart resource management models using reinforcement learning. The study shows how 6G might bring together the digital an‎d physical worlds by integrating network design principles with application-level needs. This would change how people interact, how industries are automated, an‎d how people stay connected in a way that is good for the environment.
