Despite massive global investments in transformative technologies, a persistent 70-84% failure rate plagues DX efforts, primarily attributed to poor user adoption an‎d resistance rather than technological shortcomings. This investigation posits that this "adoption gap" stems from a fundamental disconnect between sophisticated digital infrastructure an‎d end-user experience, where the UI serves as the decisive mediating plane. Through a comprehensive multi-method analysis, this report establishes that effective UI functions not as a superficial layer but as a strategic translator an‎d facilitator that bridges the human-technology divide. The research synthesizes literature from three fragmented streams—Information Systems (technology adoption theories), Human-Computer Interaction (UI/UX principles), an‎d Management (strategic DX perspectives)—to construct the novel UI-Enabled Transformation (UI-ET) Framework. This framework provides a structured model for aligning strategic DX pillars with required behavioral shifts through specific enabling UI principles an‎d measurable transformational outcomes. Comparative case analysis validates the framework, demonstrating how context-aware adaptivity, progressive disclosure, an‎d ambient data transparency enable successful transformation, while their absence leads to cognitive resistance an‎d failure. The findings reveal that transformational UI must actively remediate workflows, embody new processes, an‎d make system logic appropriately transparent to foster adoption.
