Designing supply, production and distribution chain network is the most important strategic decisions in supply chain management including determining the location, number of facilities existing in the network, mount of each facility and the dispatched current quantity among them.
Nowadays, the scope of production and services faces with the change of competition pattern among independent companies with supply chain competition. In the meantime, the importance of supply chain management and the necessity to have an integrated look on production systems will be highly important.
The supply chain structure described in this thesis consists of three levels including supplier, producer and branches. Most of suppliers are in the field of food industry and will deliver the mentioned items ex-work.
After receiving the raw materials, the factory will process some to foods like meat hamburger or semi-cooked chicken out of the complete hen and some without processing such as semi-cooked potatoes and distributes among the branches.
This production center, with regard to the branches demand, the production capacity and transportations limit and capacity and time window, will select the appropriate routing to dispatch to branches.The branches, while receiving the items will make them ready with regard to the customers orders, after processing (cooking hamburger or frying the chicken) or without processing (like salad and beverage) and deliver to the customers.
With regard to fast food customer's sensitivity to quality, delivery time and price, the company needs to decide on some issues such as optimum inventory in each level, routing between production and branches with regard to time window and appropriate selection of quantity and type of transportation vehicles.It is to be mentioned that the decisions will be made according to the production centers capacity and transportation vehicles.
Furthermore, Bagro Food Company considers customer orientation the most important fact and by offering enough discounts, tries to maximize the customer satisfaction level which will be considered as second objective function in the model.After modeling, the problem has been solved by GAMZ software and epsilon method single-objective limitation.
