In this research, bismuth ferrite nanoparticles were synthesized by rapid and facile microwave assited combustion method during 20 min in solid state. To prepare BiFeO3 nanoparticles, the starting materials of bismuth nitrate pentahydrate [Bi(NO3)3.5H2O] and Iron nitrate nonahydrate [Fe(NO3)3.9H2O] (1:1 molar ratio) with different amounts of acetamide, glycine, urea and ammonium nitrate as fuel and driving agents were used. Several experiments were carried out to investigate the influence of time and power microwave, type fuel, molar ratio of fuel and ammonium nitrate, on the product. The obtained products were collected and characterized. Then, the synthesized magnetic nanoparticles were composed with metal organic framework (MOF) Cu(BDC), which was synthesized by two methods of microwave and ultrasonic probe. The results indicated thsat the prepared Cu(BDC) particles by ultrasonic method have smaller size than microwave method. To prepare the BiFeO3 nanoparticles /Cu(BDC) composite was used microwave and ultrasonic probe methods. The prepared products were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, VSM, BET, ICP and DRS. Then, the catalytic and adsorption performances of these products were studied to remove organic dyes such as congo red (CR) and methyl orange (MO) in water. The rsults revealed the better performance for the prepared magnetic the BiFeO3 nanoparticles /Cu(BDC composite than the magnetic and Cu(BDC) particles. Electrochemical behavior of the synthesized compounds was also studied.
