Abstract:
The location –routing- inventory problem is one of the important problems in distribution network that determines facility location, vehicle routing and inventory control decisions. Because of inherent complexity of this problem, in the recent researches was attended less and also many conditions and constraints in real world that effects on this problem was ignored.
In this research it has endeavored to consider one of the constraints in real world about distribution of products, meaning that incompatibility of products. In many supply chains in real world the issue of incompatibility of products exists and this issue is one of the important and very effective aspects especially in distribution and transportation for type of this products. The incompatibility of products could be examined from different aspects; although with consideration to the subject of this research i.e. location-routing-inventory problem, from point of transportation (routing) has attended to the incompatibility condition of products. In recent researches and papers the issue of incompatibility of products in whole problems involved routing was not attended yet, i.e. routing, location- routing, inventory- routing and location-routing-inventory problems. So in this research it has endeavored to propose a mathematical model for location- routing-inventory problem in supply chain of incompatible perishable products. Also this research presents a solution approach metaheuristic for the small, medium and large-scale problems.
