Abstract:
In past years there have been many studies about the flight planning And due to population growth and industrial development can be realized that the aviation industry is most day-to-day needs. Hence the research on this field has the high importance. At design scheduling, air Lines set series of flights with considering the cities of origin and destination which are the basic of their operations.
Then, Fleet assignment problem will done for the allocation types of aircraft to scheduled flight and allocation them the crews trained. Many problems can lead to uncertainty in the planning of flights, which in this study is presented to the uncertainty caused by passenger demand. Also in the past decades, the increase in air traffic and the development of airports, the importance of gate planning have highlighted as a key activity at the airport operations.
In the present study used a two-stage approach and following a planning inflight trips with goal of maximize the profit or minimize the amount of penalty and costs caused by flight delays and cancellation of flights using the robustness approach, then, in the next stage of research following the appropriate allocation of airport gates to planned flights. The first stage of the proposed model (planning flights) is a case study on a internal airline company and can be used also in other airline companies. In fact, the most important issue that can be expressed in forms of innovation, the argument that the issue of flight planning and allocation gate in an issue have been included. After preparing models, have been used from the programming techniques to solve the model and compare the results.
Keywords: flight planning, gate allocation, two-stage approach.
