Abstract:
Communication is one of the essential human requirement. For this reason Design and manufacture of communication device be placed in plan of researchers. Underwater martial, Industrial and investigational of Iran country leads to Iranian Researchers effort for Design and manufacture of underwater communication systems that have high bandwidth and security. So underwather wireless optical communication is the best choise. Each communication system includes of transmitter, communication channel and receiver. Tasks of optical communication Receiver part are receive the optical pulses, convert them to the electrical signals and information processing for user. In this designed and manufactured receiver system, telescope part of a theodolite have been used as optical system. Then a photodid converts received laser beam to electrical signals. Electrical signals after transmition through amplifier and processor circuits, arrived to computer by USB to serial converter FTDI chip. Information processing in computer have been done by MATLAB software.
