Abstract:
Nowadays, due to the increasing global competition and rising customer expectations it is essential to use the appropriate patterns to serve as purposeful management of the supply chain to achieve competitive advantage. For this purpose the implementation of strategic management in the supply chain at the network level will be effective because of the new nature of competitive markets. Therefore, it is important to investigate the matter because the findings of the project guides supply chain operations guided to a side that sees itself as a large part of the operations and as well as customer-oriented organization in the service of competitive advantage.
In the first phase of the project will be designed codification and selection strategy model with a focus on situation of supply chain in the network, three approaches: market-oriented, resource-based and relationship-oriented and using strategic position and action evaluation model. Then written and will be prioritized the strategies related to model whit using the two models AHP (in order to determine the weight of the strategies) and VIKOR (in order to prioritize strategies) in the heavy vehicles industry as a case study. Finally, in order to ensure the effectiveness of strategies, strategy evaluation model will be designed with a focus on balanced score card, the performance pyramid and results and determinants framework.
Therefore implementation strategic management in the supply chain at the network level, as well as the use of performance measurement models and multiple criteria decision making techniques at the same time is the remarkable thing in this project which is an effective step in order to increase competitive ability of supply chain and distinct point in the project.
