Abstract:
The main goal of open-pit mining management is decreasing costs and increasing production.
For more realistic modelimg, we should accept more complexity in the model.
In this study, at first, we address to one of mining dispatching model which is presented earlier. This modeling is an optimization problem with linear constraints. We are interested in this model since its objective function consists the important issues in mining and its constaints model the real conditions in open pit mining properly.
Subsequently, in order to achieve more realistic model, we consider some random parameters which are obtained during measurements and include some estimation and measurements error and uncertainty.
Due to randomness of these parameters, we use robust technick and models the operation as a robust optimization problem.
At the end, we simulated the earlier and presented models for Golegohar Iron mine and then analyze the results.
