Abstract
One of the most important aspects in project managements are conflict management between the contractor and the owner. In fact, conflicts between owner and contractor are one of the most common conflicts in project management. Most of these conflicts lead to legal allegations which can cause unnecessary damage to the project and lead to waste of time and energy of the parties involved. The game theory can predict and monitor the behavior of the parties involved in the conflict .This theory can also create a model on how to assess the interaction between parties. In this research two different types of conflicts happened in a construction company has been assessed. The Graph model for conflict resolution has been used for modeling, analysis and prediction of conflicts. Equilibrium states have been generated under solution concepts of Nash stability and Sequential stability. The results of this model which are based upon a non-cooperative game show that the Sequential stability method could lead to better results than Nash stability method. In fact, in a real world, having a long-term vision for these kind of conflicts in project management is more acceptable.
