Abstract:
Due to the increasing use of XML for disseminating and sharing data on the Internet, using this data format for data dissemination in mobile wireless broadcast networks is expanded. In fact, for mobile clients, the access to desired data they need in the shortest time and with the lowest energy consumption is worth a lot. Todays, secure XML data broadcast in mobile wireless networks is an urgent need for many applications that are used in this environment. So far, few methods are proposed to broadcast the XML data in mobile wireless networks which support the data confidentiality. The main question is that how can propose a new indexing method for encrypted XML data which mobile client can directly access to desired data over the encrypted XML data.
In this thesis, a method is proposed to securely broadcast the XML data which it not only guarantee data confidentiality but also it reduces energy consumption in mobile devices in order to receive desired data and reduce delays at the time of receipt of the XML data.
To measure the effectiveness of the proposed method, after selecting the best method presented so far in this regard, by using several different data sets and queries have tried our proposed method to be compared with the chosen method and results can be extracted.
Also, by representing the results using the different diagrams, it is shown that our proposed method has beter performance compared to the selected method in all of the data sets and queries. Our proposed method reduces the size of data stream and therefore, it reduces the access time and tuning time considerably.
