Abstract:
Nowadays in modern societies, growing activities in construction affairs and their economic development have brought about construction wastes and so much demolition in the past three decades. Most of these wastes have not been cured or treated and therefore have caused severe damages to the environment. Proper and adequate management of these wastes/residuals, which entails economic, environmental, technical, political and social aspects, is a necessity for achievement of a sustainable construct that constitutes one of the proposed concerns of nowadays societies. In this article, after reviewing construction and demolition management methods in modern societies and their peripherals, the selected waste management method that is proportionate with Iran circumstances, and can used as a technique of design for disassembly in waste management is suggested in accordance with the implemented interviews and questionnaires. In this proposed method, it is attempted to cover all economical, environmental, technical and social aspects of waste management in Iran and eliminate defects in methods offered in other studies. The present methodology is sort of a descriptive and research one that illustrates the proposed idea by use of sketch-up software and uses interviews and questionnaires to confirm executive capability of the project. The obtained results reveal that design for disassembly (DfD) technique in the field of designing and implementing ceramic floors, wall tiles, and building facades is capable of decreasing environmental pollutions out of construction materials, and can also increase economic advantages in construct and deconstruct stages in that field , until a sustainable construct that is compatible with the environment is achieved.
