With regard to development of railway industry in whole of the world, and because of major effect of it on transportation of fright and passengers, the importance of increasing of speed and upgrading the infrastructures in railway tracks specified. With these reasons, many countries started to gather and write the criteria for designing the high speed lines. Although a railway transportation is safe transportation system, but risk of accident is available. One of these risks is derailment safety.Derailment safety depends on track and geometry of rout.
In this proposal, after reviewing the geometric parameters regulations in the reliable standards in the world like TSI standard, and checking some foreign samples regulations in the articles, studying the safety of movement of train in ideal curves, and geometric parameters like, horizontal radius, cant, transitional curve are changed with approach of increasing the speed, and the results of this research is significant. For this aim, I used TGV/KTX French train in UM software and results of them use for giving permissible tolerance for geometric parameters.
The results show that increasing of speed, increasing the danger of derailment risk.
