Abstract:
Today’s dynamic and complicated competitive environment of world’s business, compels managers and businessmen to evaluate and develop their competitive strategies continuously in order to protect their competeing position. With IT development and expansion of communication especially development of social networks and momently exchange of customers’ opinions, the speed of changes and complexity of business competition have increased and therefore the organizations need to exploit their customers’ information and ideas in making decisions about their business model and competitive strategies.
This research tries to present a model for business model development by using customer knowledge and quality function deployment. Customer knowledge as a potential and unimitatable resource for competitors, helps the organizations and firms make decision in business model area as basic strategy of creation, development, presentation and gain value which can be achieved by using quality function deployment. The present research is a functional research from research target respect, correlation from research method point of view and measuring from method of gathering information view point.
Statistical population of this research includes all experts and knowledgeable in field of strategic management, business model, customer knowledge management and quality function deployment among whom 384 people were chosen as statistical sample by random sampling. The results show confirmation of experts about a model with four phases and ten basic steps. The first phase titled business model evaluation with two steps of evaluation by the customer and evaluation by the organization, the second phase titled business model improvement with four phases of identification of customer needs, identification of organization’s have , identificationorganization’s obligations and drawing probable future, the third phase titled choosing business model with four steps of , identification of customer criterion, identification of organization’s internal and external elements, study of choices and selecting business model, and the forth phase titled using again.
