Abstract:
In this thesis, we investigate the spin transmission coefficient phosphorene quantum dot in presence of rashba interaction by using Green's function method. It is supposed that all incoming electrons to phosphorene quantum dot structure have up spin orientation. We study the effects of the size, shape and edge of the quantum dot, also effects of the vacancy on the spin transmission coefficient and spin output current. As well as a high spin current with desinable spin polarization may be achieved by applying an appropriate external electric field wich controlled by a gate voltage, particularly, there in conditions where the spin of all electrons can be inverted.
