Abstract
In recent years, for acquiring competitive benefit, approach to considering environmental and social objectives along with the economical objectives in the supply chain has taken into consideration of industries as an approach of sustainable supply chain management. In this research, after reviewing literature related to the sustainable supply chain management, the gap of execution procedure and implementation of the mentioned approach has taken into consideration.
Automobile industry as a critical industry which has a high share of GDP, needs some efforts for adding environmental and social objectives alongside their economical objectives.
For this purpose, in this research critical success factors (CSFs) and tools to implement of sustainable supply chain management are identified based on reviewing the literature. In the next step, 16 key success factors and 13 tools are verified by holding joint meetings with automobile experts and filtering the known factors.
Then, each of the known factors is prioritized and a hierarchical structure based on them is presented by using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method.
In presented research results, in the critical success factors, the factor of “top management commitment and support” is identified as the most effective and the Knowledge of competitive advantage” most dependent critical success factors, respectievely.in the tools, factor of “knowledge management system” is presented as the most important factor and “total quality management”, “kaizen”, and “EFQM” is presented as the most dependent factors.
