Abstract:
In recent years, great deal of studies in the field of hydrophobic surfaces has been implemented and that is because of its diverse applications in various fields. Various materials are used for making the surface hydrophobic and among these materials, silanes due to suitable price and performance are significantly used. Silane nanoparticles could be applied for the creation of roughness on the surface. In this thesis two kinds of silane materials have been used by two methods. The purpose of this research is to prepare hydrophobic surfaces by materials having silane, then their hydrophobic property is improved by modified silicates in various concentrations followed by the interaction of surfactants nanostructures with these surfaces and their impact on contact angle is investigated. In fact, in this thesis, the impact of surfactant concentration and also the structures of nanomaterials on the surfactants surface are investigated.
