Tornado and vortex are the phenomena that abundantly observed in nature. In recent years, numerous efforts for numerical simulation of tornado and Characteristics of this event have been done. But in the empirical evaluation and tornado generation cases with the exception of a few occasions, it has not been done any other studies. In this study, firstly, it has been tried to obtain a sufficient understanding of this phenomenon's physics with assessment and practical solution of the tornado and then according to the obtained information, a system can be designed to generate tornado in the lab and then evaluate experimental characterization of this phenomenon. In this regard, a chamber with the possibility of change in the Swirl Ratio of the tornado (the ratio of input tangential velocity to input radial velocity) was designed and built and by using a hot film anemometer; tangential, radial and axial velocity components were measured and evaluated. And also, the effect of Swirl Ratio in tornado dynamics as the most important factor in the control of tornado has been investigated.
