Achieving effective learning methods has been one of the most important concerns of each community.
Cognitive science has presented a new theory called Brain based learning that examines learning based on brain and nervous activity.
It seems that this theory can improve the quality of education. Therefore, compatible the building of the school with this theory is Necessary. The purpose of this study is to achieve the basic physical-spatial patterns of elementary school based on brain based learning.
This is an applied research And a quantitative and qualitative combination research method. Initially, we studied the main components of brain based learning through library studies and It was discovered that linking concepts of education with real life provides an appropriate setting for brain and mind development. Then using the content analysis method, effective strategies were extracted to accomplish this. Finally, we have prioritized the design elements in a survey method. The results of the research show that for linking educational concepts with real life Eight factors are effective as follows : Dynamic Open spaces, linking Game and learning, linking Open and close spaces, experience real life activities, Interaction of community institutions with educational environment, Creating diversity in the School body and activity, Linking social interactions and learning and The More presence of students in educational space.
