Abstract
Population increase, urban development and need to create centralized spaces of office, commercial and residential in order to abetment of the horizontal expansion of cities, has necessitated the construction of high-rise buildings more than before. High-rise buildings due to high altitude, the importance of performance and complexity in construction, are considered more than other buildings and makes them tyupical in the city level till global level. Also, the influence of structural factors, construction systems and other factors such as installation, urban design, economics, politics and etc , are more important than small and commonplace buildings. In this regard, the basic structural issues, particularly stability against lateral forces such as wind and earthquake, architectural and construction issues, especially vertical communications and transportation, impose more requirements on the design of high-rise buildings. Therefore, the architect in tall buildings design and in order to achieve a successful and less flawed design, first of all, requires a lot of knowledge about the structure and other issues that related to the installation, urbanization, construction, economy, value engineering and etc , in tall buildings field. Also, by studying the construction challenges in pervious tall buildings, more complete architectural designs can be found. In this research, different and influential criteria for designing tall buildings have been collected and evaluated; and also by examining the challenges in the previous examples, we plan to discover and minimize the problems in the construction of tall buildings.
Due to the developmental nature of the research from the point of the aims, the result of this research is the design of mixed-use skyscraper with a height of 440 meters and 90 floors. The height to norm ratio of this skyscraper is 10, due to its frangibility, structural system is tube in tube system and the structural material is HSC (High Strength Concrete). Also, the implement technique of columns in this structural system that mentioned are the type of steel and concrete compound or SRC (Steel Reinforced Concrete). Ultimately, we’ve addressed other challenges ahead of the project with regard to the proper responses of the constructed prototypes.
