Order statistics and records are widely used in daily life, including meteorology, sport, economy, income distributions analysis, characterization of probability distributions, survival analysis and etc. On the other hand, Lomax distribution is one of the most applicable income distributions in statistics and economy, which fit into income data is very suitable.
Hence, it is necessary to identify and investigate the various type of Lomax distribution order statistics and records. One of these studies is to determine the Lomax distribution through the introduction of appropriate methods to estimate the parameters of this distribution. Also, calculation of some types of entropies based on the distribution of records and order statistics.
in this thesis, we tried to get closer to this goal by three different methods of Classical statistics, Baysian and Entropy.By comparing the Classical and baysian methods, we show that in cases where the sample size is small, the method of baysian with appropriate prior acts better than other methods.
