The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction of instructors of Tehran University of Applied Sciences. The method of this research is correlation. Among the 20,000 university lecturers, 377 faculty members of the faculty of applied sciences of Tehran province were randomly selected. The tools used are organizational culture questionnaire from Cameron & Quinn standard model (1999) and Moghimi's job satisfaction (2006). The data of the research after the gathering based on the questions and the research hypothesis were analyzed using Pearson correlation method.
T-test for independent groups and analysis of variance analysis were used. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction in the Tehran-based science and technology university and the job satisfaction variable has a good explanation and is able to explain well the extent of changing organizational culture changes.
In this research, there is a significant relationship between environmental factors and organizational culture. In this research, while rejecting the hypothesis of the relationship between organizational culture and the nature of work, the nature of work has not been able to change the coefficient of organizational change, but the variable of individual factors has had a significant effect on organizational culture.
