The sensivity of SCC production and the effect of climate condition on SCC mixture, are ingredient that could be effective on studing the fresh and hardend concrete and how to know about the effect of mixture temperature change and climate condition on fresh performance of SCC.
In this study, two types of SCC mixture were made. The Powder-type SCC with limestone powder and the W/C ratio of 0.42 that contains the SF, MK and GGBFS as replacement to Cement and the other type with no limestone powder SCC and mentioned materials as replacement of Cement. Both type of mixtures were made at 700 ± 30 mm Slump flow and three class of temperature as Low, Medium and High range temperature. According to the climate condition of Tehran city at different seasons, the Low temperature were made at 5 ± 2 °C, and the Medium temperature and High temperature were made at 21 ± 2 °C and 35 ± 2 °C, respectively. The test that were carried out for fresh concrete contains Slump-Flow, T50, J-Ring and VSI. The Rheology tests were carried out with ICAR Rheometer and finally compressive strength performed at 7, 28 and 90 days.
According to the results, the Yield stress decreases 30% with decrease of mixture temperature and Plastic Viscosity increase 25%, averagly. With increase of mixture temperature, the Yield stress increases 20% and Plastic Viscosity decreases 40%, averagly. The 7 days compressive strength decrease 10% with increase of mixture temperature and the 28 days compressive strength decrease 15%, averagly.
