University of Science and Technology is one of the largest universities in Iran. The university has 15 colleges, 12 research institutes, 13 research centers, a research institute, 9 science hubs, 2nd campus, an e-learning center and 3 independent educational groups of Islamic culture and education, foreign languages and physical education. In addition, the university has two satellite modules in Damavand and Light. However, there are more than 8,000 employees and more than 12,000 students in the 3 main sections and in daily, night and virtual groups. This, in turn, has led the university to become a small city that has an infrastructure Special needs and management planning.
One of the needs of this university is the existence of a multi-functional building for organizing the physical structure of the Institute for Research and Technology, creating the opportunity and physical planning appropriate for the presence and deployment of knowledge-based startup companies along with the activities and atmosphere of the university, in addition to fixing University needs, effective communication outside the university. On the other hand, due to the large number of universities in the university, other infrastructures are needed to solve the problem of car parking and parking at the university level by looking at the mechanization of parking space.
In this regard, in this treatise, we have tried to focus on the university's need for a first phase design of a multi-function building, one of the technologies used in this complex, mechanized parking in line with the population of staff and students and the Demands University is. In the design of mechanized parking, the inductive method of different types of mechanized parking systems and circulation of cars was investigated and according to the type of building and the need of the university, an appropriate mechanized system was proposed. In the end, considering all aspects, this essay examines the design of the multi-functional building of the University of Science and Technology with emphasis on the parking lot of the complex and the design of a parking system.
