Abstract:
In today's world, policymakers and planners pay more attention to tourism industry for economic development and the withdrawal of a single-product economy, and they consider tourism industry as a source of income and employment at the national level; on the other hand, with considering the changes that the today industry world has created in the type of the needs of the people and considering the fact that it has improved the tendency towards the health of the body and soul in humans, health tourism, as one of the branches of tourism, has been increasingly considered, so that many countries earn most of their revenue by this industry.
With respect to the obvious need for the development of non-oil industries to realize the resistive economy in the country, it was decided to identify the components affecting this industry and the resistive economy and the close relationship between these two fields in order to provide a model for measuring the impact of health tourism on the resistive economy so that we will facilitate realization of resistive economy and wealth generation in the country. To do so, structural equation modeling method and PLS software were used. The results of statistical analyzes showed that optimal management of natural resources, knowledge-based economy, support for national production, reducing dependence on foreign countries and increased self-sufficiency, using religious and national cultural capacities, economic development, as components of resistive economy, respectively, have the greatest impact on it and government policies and support, residency condition, training and specialist skills of the staff involved in the admission and treatment process, costs, coverage of care after receiving health care services, security, advertising and marketing of health tourism, attention of treatment centers to the indicators of international accreditation, geographical factors, ethical and legal standards, effective insurance coverage, cultural similarities and religious language, as the components of health tourism, have the most impact on this area respectively. In addition, the research hypothesis that the health tourism development has a positive impact on the resistive economy was confirmed and the results indicate a strong fit of the model of the research.
