"Passage of Culture and Art" of Laleh Park of Tehran, known as the Self-Employed Market, is located in a special place: between the two main museums of the city, the Park and the Kargar Street. Lale Park is separated from the Walk way of the Kargar Street and the City, by the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Carpets and the Market, and the barrier between the park and these three public urban spaces are fences. With a lack of proper planning, the marketplace has, after many years, found the ugly face and as a solution, city management think of shutting the marketplace. With all the cultural and artistic dilemmas, this marketplace keeps booming, and by eliminating this successful public space, the current damage in the park can spread to the edge of the street. The Museum of Contemporary Arts has a dramatic but cautious approach to the park and its only entrance is from the street and is guarded by the fence round it. The same applies to the carpet museum. The Museum of Contemporary Art faces a shortage of space for its treasures, and in the art world news, decisions are made by relevant institutions on how to deal with existing works. Laleh Park, with a lack of physical and visual access to the northern and western parts of the city, has insecure and massive spaces in the northern part. This description indicates the importance of urban planning in the fate of urban diverse public spaces. This type of usage separation between these public spaces has been influenced by modern urban thinking and has been thought of in the decision making process of the design of Laleh Park and the belt of its surrounding buildings.
The Museum of Contemporary Art and the Carpet Museum have their own special audience and is not attractive to all segments of the community in terms of the physical space and physical plan. However, in contemporary museums in the world, "Culture for All" is the basis for designing museums, and is even involved in the selection of the museum's location, as well as the interaction with the context and the site is also fully designed based on this idea. . The main goal of today's museums is to increase the presence of all classes of the society, because the "presence in the museum" in any form and with any intention, can promote the cultural level of society, and this happens in the contact with the museum and its works and its cultural environment, that will lead to raising the awareness of different classes of society.
The organization of this popular public cultural community requires the recognition of public spaces, their quality and characteristics that lead to the presence of various social groups, to serve as a public domain, to welcome everyone and to fill leisure time and promote public culture. .
The present study focuses on the extent to which the two main approaches of today's museum design to the global level, namely the mixing of public spaces and interaction with the site, on the presence of public cultural spaces, especially the museum. This research has been done in two phases: first, the first step is to identify the factors affecting the quality of public spaces and classify these factors based on availability on the basis of library studies and existing documents, and in the next step with the Delphi method, the factors The spatial quality of the two samples studied, the first of which is the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the second is the House of Artists of Iran located in Iranshahr Park. The second step was to test the results of the first stage, so that the presence, diversity of presence and variety of hours of presence in the two samples were counted and compared.
This research confirms the impact of qualitative components that underlie a subset of the general characteristics of "usage mixture" and "interaction with the site" on the “possibility of presence” in cultural public spaces.
