This is done by using counting of individuals, surveying them and collecting data for each location in three shopping centers in Tehran and trip generation rates of the shopping center, in terms of person-trips and vehicle-trips, the travel mode share and the influence area are presented. In addition, an interval estimation and hypothesis testing were used to confirm or refuse the obtained rates and determination their reliability, indicating that these rates can not be generalized for the entire community and that the results of this study can only be used for the construction of similar centers.
