Abstract
Nanostructures of copper, silver and nickel oxides are available in this research. For the preparation of these compounds, cheap and available primer materials, including chloride and nitrate, are used as metal sources and organic ligands, such as oxalic acid, as a sedimentation agent. The effect of surfactant on the size of nanoparticles was investigated. In a short period of stirring, followed by collapsing of the resulting precursor, nano-particles formed copper, silver and nickel oxides.
Nanocomposite was used for the polymerization of Nafion as a composite matrix, and from metal nanoparticles and their oxide to remove this polymer. In this way, some of the Nafion's features are strengthened and others are dimmed.
By reducing the metal oxides on the Nephion, the electrical conductivity decreased, while the absorption of water in the Nephion increased with the addition of nanocomposite.
The products were identified by substrate spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
