In the present study, initially, several core-shell magnetic nanocomposites which are
functionalized by O-Phenylenediamine, chitosan and L-proline were synthesized and
applied as heterogeneous nanocatalysts in the synthesis of nitrogen containing
heterocyclic compounds such as indenoquinolie derivatives, 2,4,6-triarylpyridine, α-
amino nitriles, 1,4-dihydropyridines and polyhydroquinolines. Furthermore, the catalytic
activity was also evaluated in the Suzuki-Miura coupling reaction. One of the advantages
of this research is the use of recyclable nanocatalysts, the simplicity of the reaction
method, the short reaction time, high-to-excellent yields of products, the low cost, the easy
separation and use of a green solvent.
