Abstract
In addition to their cultural and spiritual contents, historic cores of cities are consideredas great economic resources, and counted as the reflection of human’s spiritual and physical endeavors throughout the history of the mankind. Therefore, they are not only physical cases, but also economic, social and cultural ones.Unfortunately, these valuable textures do not have adequate functionality in the context of modern life, andare increasingly falling to disrepair.
Ergo, utilizing the potentials of these cities to revitalize them is mandatory. This research studied the historic trail of Saremoldole Passage in (Passage in Feiz¬Abad district of Kermanshah) and one of its valuable buildings called Tavakkul Serai, as a case study of Iranian historic trail, so that it can shed light on the features of historic trails which are part of historic texture of cities.
This thesis using descriptive, analytical and comparative methods tries grant itʼs goals that are restoration and revitalization of the old Sera to promote the implicational level and the values of the building to preserve it for posterity. For cultural, artistic and historical values and then, to design itʼs renovation and historical values and then, to design its restoration and revitalization whit analizing the buildingʼs damage. Finally, by reviewing the potential of the complex, it will be presented with a suitable revival plan and then, considering the valuable buildings around it, considered as a tourism complex.
