Abstract
The purpose of this project is to propose a conceptual model for identification and selection transformational leaders in industrial organizations in order to solve the problem of adapting the transformational leadership characteristics to the needs of organizational transformation.
The inappropriateness of leadership characerstics in selected managers with the strategic and main objectives of organization in industrial units can lead to organizational deviation from its strategic goals in the future. and now the current method is not responding to indigenous needs and does not fit into the organization’scontingency conditions.
In this research project we first studied the history of leadership, and designed the models of experts in this field in order to examine the conceptual framework of the previous models, their strengths and weaknesses. and use their key variables within the framework of our proposed model.
In order to present a conceptual model that is a model appropriate to the national and religious environment of our country, we used the content analaysis method to design a conceptual model. Also, in order to refine and evaluate this proposed model, experts have been used.
The achievement of this research is to provide a conceptual- functional model tailored to the structure of industrial organizations, which aims to facilitate the identification and utilization of transformational leaders for these organizations.
It is expected that by applying this model precisely in the processes of choosing transformational leaders, we will see an increase in the efficiency of management systems and leadership in the industrial organizations.
