This study aims to examine the components of knowledge sharing infrastructure in the operating model of the Iranian insurance industry and to assess their implementation in the insurance industry. The current research is an applicable research, considering its target and is a descriptive survey research, considering its data collection method. Data was gathered using interviewing tools. The research population consists of 6 managers of private and public insurance companies in the Iranian insurance market who interviewed on the basis of snowball method and the availability through a semi-structured questionnaire. During the interview, theoretical saturation was achieved Qualitative analysis methods have been used with MAXQDA for analyzing the data. In general, research findings indicate that knowledge sharing infrastructures in Iran's insurance industry are generally new. The results indicate that in the field of human infrastructures, components such as organizational commitment, communication skills and social responsibility; in the field of organizational infrastructures, components such as case studies and recordings and in-house meetings and in the field of communication infrastructures, components such as knowledge sharing through the portal and informational dashboards would lead to sharing knowledge. Using the results of research and reviewing international samples, the operating model of insurance companies based on knowledge sharing infrastructure was designed.
