Abstract
Agriculture is very important in the production of food, and water intake plays an important role in this industry. It's possible to increase firm's efficiency with use of internet of things and make a smart farm. Reduces the amount of wasting water in the water transmission network is the one of factors for increase efficiency for farms. There are several methods to reduce water waste in irrigation networks, one of these methods is the optimal placement of pressure sensors in the water transmission network, which can detect water waste. This research is about smart tree farms witch the water transmission network is in the form of valve and tubes. Due to the optimal positioning of the sensors, it's possible to find position of the water wasting point, which cause amount of water waste reaches to minimum. In this research, the genetic algorithm has been used to optimize the positioning of sensors and to find the waste area, and the smartfarmnet platform has been suggested to find a leakage area.
