In this study , fabrication of foam glass covering on inner wall of 316 stainless steel cyliderical shape , by injection moulding method is evaluated . The frit was prepared in SiO2-B2O3-R2O system and SiC was used as foaming agent. Based on a thermodynamical theory , NiO was selected as oxidizer for SiC. Based on this theory , 705.2°C was predicted as foaming temrature. By STA method and observation in tublar furnace , that prediction was confirmed. Also, the effect of CoO , SnO2 and Fe2O3 as oxidizer, was investigated by this way. Mixture of paraffin wax , stearic acid and poly ethylene glycol was used as binder system for injection moulding. Debinding regime was schemmed by investigation about loss of weight in binder system by temperature increasement. The particle size distribution was distiniguished by PSA method. 14% Wt of binder system was necessitate for injection in 350kpa and 110°C . Injected layer was planed by gradient in SiC concentration , so that in nearest position to substrate , concentration of SiC was 0.5% Wt and in farest position from substrate , concentration of SiC was 2%Wt. After heat treatement and controlled cooling, pore size distribution was investigated by SEM. Nearest porosities to substrate and farest porosities from substrate was equal in size approximately.
