Abstract:
In a world in which turbulence is the norm, organizations are continually reinventing and refining their strategies. Increasingly, they are relying on projects to design and implement significant change. Any project in organization is considered as a rich source of knowledge and provides great opportunities for producing knowledge and increasing organizational capabilities and capital. Since project management with knowledge management approach shows further success of project, Knowledge management in project as knowledge management in organization plays a leading role. In order to implement knowledge management, organizations usually follow different methods such as Tiwana Roadmap, Calabrese model, Process Classification Framework and other patterns. However, in knowledge management of projects due to their APQC nature, these models could not be used, unless they are consistent with project conditions. Thus, great inclination to methodologies development has been emerged to integrate knowledge management processes in project management process. Models presented in this research are: “Conceptual Model of project knowledge management Process”, “Process Model of Project Knowledge Management”, and “Project Knowledge Management Process Flow Diagram” in project-oriented organisation which enable them to implement knowledge processes with greater efficiency and effectiveness. Comprehensive process model is based on Schwartz-Deming cycle and includes three fundamental concepts of knowledge management that is people, technology and process. This model includes different knowledge areas in project and manages project knowledge for knowledge-based strategic objectives of organisation with close interaction or project management processes and business-oriented knowledge processes. The research methodology for designing models is exploration and field methods, the instruments used to evaluate models are interview and questionnaire and the validity of the results will be measured using Cronbach’s alpha, Binomial nonparametric test, and frequency analysis.
