Distributed Generation Units have been known for their numerous advantages. The most prominent type of them is the solar system which can be used separately from or connected to the power grid. One of the major issues related to the power system is power quality. Implementing a suitable filter can improve power quality. Among the new topics in this field, combination of Active Power Filter (APF) and solar system has attracted the most attention due to its sufficient impacts on power quality issues. In other words, the solar system-connected inverter can be used as an active power filter and the system can be used for active and reactive power injection purposes. Because of the active power filter function the network power factor correction, load balancing, reactive power compensation, elimination of load-induced harmonics, and eventually being sinusoidal three-phase current drawn from the grid will be achieved. Using the appropriate control method helps to achieve these goals. In this study, the "Active and reactive component generation" control method is simulated for the three-phase system. Then, implementing of the " Proportional Integral Multi-Resonant " control method of the single phase system on the three-phase system, the Total Demand Distortion (TDD) and unbalanced percentages of the network Current will be improved.
