Abstract:
Introduction:
Hospital is one of the most prosperous of the healthcare facilities in the health care system. Iranian Government has to invest 400 to 500 million currency per bed in 2018, instead, then it should be an accurate estimate for healthcare care public policies.
Background:
In the direction of the healthcare public services, which is the percentage of occupancy of the treatment part, if it is about 75%, it should be perceived that the utilization of resources has been enough.
Problem Statement:
The hospital studied in this research is Shahid Mohammadi in Bandar Abbas. it is a government facility that offers cheap services for the population. Both of medieval care and intensify care are serviced it, In Shahid Mohammadi Hospital, Bandar Abbas has a flatbed occupancy rate of over 75%, and in the hospital's internal departments, which occupy 46.6% of beds in the hospital, the occupancy rate is 99.73%. The lack of an average care unit in Shahid Mohammadi Hospital has led some of the patients in the intensive care unit who have recovered relatively well placed to continue treatment rather than admitting to a medial welfare department in the public sector, while patients need a surface service Higher than normal admission (middle admission), which is not possible in the normal part.
Material and Method:
In this study, first of all, using the SWAT matrix, a strategy for the development of the hospital was extracted, and in the second stage, the hospital bed and bedside indicators were considered. To improve the bed occupancy index, 104 new beds were designed and added to the hospital bed. The added beds include 14 special care beds and 26 moderate care beds and 64 beds for admission. In the next step, in order to improve the functional conditions of the spaces and reduce the flow of patients to better control the infection, the parts of the area are organized and restored.
Result and Conclusion:
In this study at Shahid Mohammadi Hospital in Bandar Abbas indicate that specialized care, surgery and imaging departments are scattered in several different buildings, and in some of the ICEs in the center where patients need imaging diagnostic services such as CT scan, Public outdoors will travel long distances to receive the desired services. Patients undergoing orthopedic surgical operations in the orthopedic orthopedic room will have this disorder that will make infection control in patients more difficult.
