Abstract One of the constraints of apartment household is the lack of space for clothes drying process. Living in apartments, many of which do not have a good balcony or vacant area, and, as in the past, can not be used from the yard and the roof makes it hard to dry clothes completely without stay smelling. Although there are currently a variety of electric dryers or portable drying hangers, but increasing population and shrinking home space, besides reducing energy reserves and problems such as moisture emissions, environmental pollution, high energy consumption in electric and affordable dryers, Not being economical, it was felt necessary to redefine the device or station to dry clothes hygienic. In addition, the next step in this essay was to investigate the impact of Iranian culture on the design of the clothes dryer. Also, in order to compete with the current market, the sound of the device's operation and its audio effects and visual notifications on the user's satisfaction and assurance of the correct operation of the device was examined. According to the descriptiveanalytic research methodology, after examining questionnaires, interviews and user testing that was carried out among 30 people, the results indicated that users would be more confident about the correctness of their performance if they received voice and visual information from the device. and the tendency to buy it rather than the same product without sound alert. As a result, the findings acknowledge that the presence of visual and audio messages in the dryer system has a significant relationship with the user's confidence in the device, and the desire to purchase design consistent with the Iranian culture does not have a significant relationship with the age of the users. After analyzing the responses and examples and reviewing the problems of users in solving the related need, scenario and ideation were addressed. The leading project has completed five stages of design based on the feedback received from the professors. Finally, the final idea was extracted and cultivated.
