by increasing the demand for energy in industrial and domestic applications , renewable and clean energy supply is one of the challenges facing designers and suppliers . Photovoltaic systems are one of renewable sources that convert solar energy into electrical energy , because the input voltage and current are dependent on the temperature of the sun , so there must be a converter between the source and the consumer , the ability to function within the wide input voltage range. in this thesis, a new type of dc - dc converter is introduced and it will be investigated which, due to the soft switching of active elements, has high power density and can be applied in a wide range of input voltage. the proposed converter is designed to work in the power range of 200 W to 1200 W, the frequency range of 60 kHz to 200 kHz, and the ability to increase the input voltage by maintaining the function in voltage switching condition is zero to 5, and the proposed converter 's efficiency is above%94
