The highway that have increased with the advent of modernity in iran have entered into urban tissues without paying attention to the space around them , causing missing spaces that are left without structure and use , and are lost in the city . These spaces are non - human areas located around the edge of the highway and designers pay less attention to maintenance and use . In general , the missing spaces are urban unpleasant limits that have not positively correlated with the surrounding environment and their consumers . the surrounding area around the city of tehran metropolis , located in the southern part of tehran metropolitan area , is a good example of exploring the missing urban spaces .
The site is located in the region of 16 Tehran and is located adjacent to the fragile and insecure areas of the city , which suffers from lack of entertainment and cultural spaces and green spaces . the present study tries to provide solutions to the urban life cycle by reviewing the current situation surrounding the navab highway between the rail line to the end of the highway , using the strategic analysis of swat . the question in this thesis is that " can the designers increase their presence in the missing spaces with the help of spatial and spatial qualities and thus increase security in these spaces ? " . the general purpose of this thesis is to recreate the lost , lost , and unsafe spaces of urban located on the navab highway of tehran through enhancing the quality of urban design .
in order to achieve this purpose in this study , library collection methods and surveying methods are used in space ( vector photo ) and finally by assembling different urban areas , the essential qualities of urban space have been extracted .
according to the above mentioned , this thesis has five chapters , which in the first chapter examines the issue and the necessity and importance of it and finally the main questions and goals mentioned in the project . in the second chapter , theoretical foundations and relevant descriptions are discussed , and in the final section of the second chapter , the theoretical framework of the thesis is formulated . The third chapter of the case of global experiences that fits in with the subject is brought into a brief review , in case they can be used in detail of their design in the design process .
in the fourth chapter , the position and site of the project is introduced and the overall understanding of the design site is directly and indirectly , and finally the status of the status quo and the swat table is presented at the end of the fourth chapter . Chapter V , the final chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the design and begins with the vision statement and then outlines the strategy of the proposed policies to the design .
the aim of this project is to improve the security of the missing spaces in spaces surrounding the navab highway of tehran . in the missing spaces of the navab highway , security is created due to the lack of pedestrians and lack of space and activity in space . When the qualities of the urban space are very small , voluntary or social activities will not be carried out in space . this project tries to solve this problem by enhancing the quality of urban space . Finally , the understandable space for residents of the neighbourhood will be an example of a park , along with the desired and desired activities as the " underpass Park " that uses the lost space under the Nawab highway .
